Cotton Patch Café, Inc., is one of my favorite restaurants and this year they are a Platinum Sponsor. Started 25 years ago, two energetic guys, Larry Marshall and Mike Patranella, they worked long hours and created a restaurant like no other. The idea behind that first Cotton Patch Cafe in Nacogdoches was to create a community restaurant that offered great food made from scratch, served by caring folks who are part of your community. Besides the great food and service, Cotton Patch Cafe donates to hundreds of wonderful charities and causes every year. “We want to help make each community better,” Larry says. That recipe works. Today Cotton Patch has 41 locations in Texas, Oklahoma and New Mexico. And of course my personal favorite in Watauga, Texas on (377) Denton Highway under the management of Colby Baird. There contribution will send another 3 or 4 wounded or disabled Marines to the annual Marine Corps Ball. Thanks guys! You all are great!!
A 30-year Watauga resident and CP fan since day one, Doug loves the friendliness of the people at Cotton Patch. “It’s like Cheers, where everybody knows your name!” Doug also appreciates our connection with the community and excellent food. Our management team says “Doug enjoys the food so much that he is an advocate for us to anyone he meets. He has a lot of positive things to say, and everyone who knows him loves him!”
